Westlands School in Torquay has worked with Wampeewo Ntakke School in Uganda to create this literary project. A select group of students have written their own short stories and some have even created a character profile from scratch to feature in their work. The collection is presented to you in this book, which is entitled, ÔWorking Together In Harmony!Õ
The Westlands students were also fortunate enough to work with a well-known local childrenÕs author in the UK to produce this book. David Lawrence Jones visited the school for several workshops and worked with the students. This helped them create their character profiles and initial ideas which gave them a realistic insight on producing a novel.
