This Collection of Essays was written during Sheets' time at Olivet Nazarene University and deals with various themes related to Wesleyanism, including an in-depth study on the roots of the Church of the Nazarene and its commitment to Wesleyanism as opposed to the Fundamentalist Movement, as well as studies on the theology found in the sermons of John Wesley.
