Yakitori's Kanji Stories workbook is an essential foundation for developing the rich mental stories needed to learn and retain kanji THE SMART WAY.
The method is a modification of the Heisig method in Remembering The Kanji. It is the first of a series of Kanji books and aids being developed by Tori Taiyo Johnson, a high school Japanese instructor (known to his students as "Yakitori Sensei").
The Yakitori Kanji Story mission is to create a complete set of resources to modify the RTK method FOR THE CLASSROOM (something that Heisig has not yet attempted).
